Special Education Teacher

A special education teacher in Crimson Height’s clinic is responsible for providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. They work in a unique educational setting, catering to students who require intensive support due to behavioral, emotional, or developmental challenges.

What you'll do

• Set learning goals for each student, assess their progress, and record their evaluations.
• Adapt general lessons to meet students’ needs.
• Develop individualized education Programs (IEPs) for each student.
• Plan, organize and assign activities that are specific to each student’s abilities.
• Update parents on the progress of their students and enlist parental support with behavior control and home activities designed to supplement their classroom lessons.
• Discuss students’ progress with parents, other teachers, therapists, BCBAs, and administrators.

What you'll bring

• Bachelors or masters's degree.
• Valid special education teaching credential for utah
• 2+ years of experience preferred in special education teaching.
