Cannabis Packaging Technicians

Viridian Staffing's Client is looking for a temporary Cannabis Packaging Worker to work in their facility in the South Portland, Oregon, area. You should be eager to be a part of a thriving Cannabis company. This is a part-time position on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9 am - 2 pm lasting for at least 2 months.  You have a positive attitude, work ethic and are very attentive to details.

As a Packaging Technician, you will help to measure cannabis products, package the product, and then label the product accordingly. You may also get to help collect samples and perform tests to ensure quality. You may perform a variety of other processing tasks as needed. While experience packaging cannabis is not required, you should have experience adhering to strict health and safety policies and procedures.  Attention to detail and the ability to closely follow standard operating procedures is required.  You should also have the ability to sit, stand, twist, AND kneel for up to 5 hours at a time. If you are the type of individual who is always on time and is excited to come to a fast-paced work environment each day ready to give 100%, then this could be the right opportunity for you. 6+ months of experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, climb, twist AND kneel up to 8 hours/day
  
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with your hands
  
• Ability to work in climates with varying temperatures
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Willingness to take direction
  
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
  
• Solid work ethic and reliable transportation
  
• Ability to arrive on time
  
• Ability to work the 80 hours required of this assignment
  
• Ability to physically handle exposure to pollen, dust, dander, and other nature elements during an 8 hour shift
  

Oregon State Law requires anyone working for a licensed cannabis company to be 21 years of age or older and must have an OLCC Marijuana Workers permit

Pay: $20/hr
