We are currently seeking an experienced
Onshore Logistics Manager (m/f/d)
Start date: November 2026 | Duration: 12 months + option | Assignment location: Łeba, Poland | Contract type: Freelance / B2B
You will support an offshore wind project on a freelance basis, coordinating and executing the onshore logistics activities from Łeba, Poland. The assignment is planned as a 14/14 rotation in coordination with the offshore logistics team. The final working model, including potential weekend work, may be adjusted depending on project requirements. In unforeseen operational situations, occasional offshore assignments may also be required.

As part of your role, you will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:
- Coordinating and accompanying the end-to-end onshore logistics process, including the receipt, transfer, storage and distribution of goods and materials and the associated documentation
- Organising and supervising cargo handling activities, including packing, stowage, loading and unloading, and ensuring safe and efficient material flows between the onshore logistics base, vessels and other project interfaces
- Coordinating material and goods transfers in close cooperation with the offshore logistics team, project teams, suppliers, transport providers and other relevant interfaces
- Preparing and maintaining transport, shipping and logistics documentation and supporting customs-related processes where required
- Coordinating the handling, storage and documentation of dangerous goods and hazardous materials in accordance with applicable project procedures and relevant IMDG requirements
- Monitoring inventories, storage areas, material availability and waste handling and coordinating proper segregation, storage and disposal of materials and waste

- Completed vocational training in logistics, freight forwarding, warehouse logistics or a comparable qualification
- Solid professional experience in logistics, ideally in offshore wind, maritime logistics, port logistics or another project-based logistics environment
- Practical experience with cargo handling, material coordination, storage, logistics documentation and transport processes; experience with customs-related processes is an advantage
- Knowledge of dangerous goods and hazardous materials handling, including relevant IMDG requirements, is an advantage
- Very good English skills for safe coordination in an international project environment; Polish language skills are an advantage
- Structured, safety-conscious and hands-on working style with strong coordination and communication skills
Certificates:
- Minimum required certificates:
- Project-specific logistics and dangerous goods training may be required, e.g. IMDG 1.3 / Dangerous goods by sea, CTU training and hazardous substances training
- Additional advantage for potential offshore assignments: valid GWO package (First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling, Sea Survival incl. Boat Transfer, Working at Heights), Offshore Medical (e.g. NOGEPA, AWMF or UGOK) and OPITO HUET
