We are currently recruiting an Enhanced Staff Nurse – Anaesthetics (Operating Theatre) for a leading hospital in Dublin.
Department: Anaesthetics – Theatre
Job Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Responsibilities
- Create and record a care plan based on best practices and the needs of the patient.
- Revise the computerised or printed care plan.
- Create individualised and suitable patient education and discharge plans, and make use of the ward's resources.
- In line with the patient care plan, cooperate with other members of the healthcare team within the designated clinical area.
- Establish discharge standards as soon as the patient is admitted.
- Make time in your schedule for meetings, training, and other activities.
- Perform operations in accordance with established policy and procedures and provide safe, thorough nursing based on current standards and research.
- Care plans should be properly reviewed and updated.
- Assess one's own nursing practice in relation to care standards and be aware of one's own capabilities.
Requirements
- Registered with the NMBI's general division
- Three years or more of experience in either Anaesthetics or general theatre
- Proof of individual professional growth
- Continuous skill development that is pertinent to the care needed for the patient caseload
