Job Title: Financial Controller
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Note: This role is based in Nairobi, Kenya. Applicants must be willing and prepared to relocate to Kenya for this position. We are hiring an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance operations in Nairobi. Ideal candidates should have experience in exports, logistics, FMCG, or agriculture.

Key Responsibilities:
[ol]Financial Oversight & Planning: • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with company goals • Monitor cash flow, capital allocation, and financial health • Oversee inventory management systems Accounting & Reporting: • Prepare accurate financial statements, reports, budgets, and forecasts Compliance & Audit • Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements • Manage internal and external audits Cost Management: • Control and optimize departmental costs • Identify financial risks and recommend corrective actions.Team Leadership: • Lead and mentor the finance team • Promote accountability and performance [/ol]
Candidate Requirements:
• Experience: 7+ years in financial management, 3+ years in a senior role
• Expertise: Proficient in IFRS and financial reporting standards
• Industry: Preferred background in export, FMCG, logistics, or agriculture
• Qualifications: CPA, ACCA, or equivalent (MBA is a plus)
• Skills: Strong leadership, analytical, and communication abilities
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Nairobi, Kenya
