Audit and Assurance - Experienced Associate

Job Description:

• Perform financial statement audits in accordance with regulatory requirements and firm guidelines, including planning, execution, and reporting.
• Evaluate and assess internal controls and risk management processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Review and test client financial data, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other key financial reports.
• Analyze accounting records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with senior associates and managers to ensure timely completion of audit engagements.
• Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring accuracy and alignment with audit findings and align with regulatory and professional standards.
• Liaise with clients to understand their business operations, identify key risks, and provide value-added recommendations.
• Keep up to date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues affecting financial reporting and auditing standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, Finance or other relevant field required.
• CA/ACCA/CIA or other relevant certification preferred or working towards.

Experience:

• 1–4 years of experience in audit and assurance services with a focus on financial statement audits and internal controls.
• Experience in working with clients across various industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other accounting standards.
