Automotive & Industrial Electrician Mining Equipment Maintenance & Engineering Services (Chinese Speaking Only)

Position: Chinese-Speaking Electrician / Automotive Electrical Technician

Project Location: Thar - Coal Mining Project, Sindh, Pakistan
The position is primarily based at Thar and depending on project requirements, the employee may also be required to travel to Islamabad or other project locations for short-term assignments and support.

Mandatory Technical & Professional Requirements
The following requirements are strictly mandatory. Candidates who do not meet these requirements should not be shortlisted.

Chinese Language
-       Must be able to speak Chinese fluently.
-       Must be able to communicate with Chinese engineers, supervisors and project management in a normal working environment.

Electrical Experience
-       Minimum 5 years of relevant electrical work experience.
-       Must be able to read and understand electrical circuit diagrams/drawings.
-       Must be proficient in using a multimeter and other basic electrical testing equipment.
-       Must be able to assemble, install, troubleshoot and maintain electrical distribution/control panels.
-       Must have practical experience in automotive electrical systems/circuits.

Computer Skills & Fault Diagnosis
-       Must be able to use a computer independently.
-       Must be familiar with basic computer operations, including software installation/use and data entry.
-       After receiving basic training on the company's diagnostic software/equipment, must be capable of independently reading and interpreting vehicle fault codes (DTCs) and assisting with fault diagnosis.

Automotive Maintenance & Practical Ability
This position is not limited to electrical work. Because the employee may be assigned to Islamabad or other locations as an independent project technical/maintenance representative, the candidate is expected to gradually develop broader automotive maintenance capabilities.

While working at the Thar project, the employee will also be required to learn and assist with:
-       Basic vehicle maintenance
-       Routine vehicle servicing
-       Basic mechanical troubleshooting
-       Basic repair work
-       Vehicle electrical troubleshooting
-       Preventive maintenance
-       General inspection and diagnosis of vehicles

Automotive / Heavy Vehicle Experience:
-       Trucks
-       Heavy vehicles
-       Mining equipment
-       Construction machinery
-       Automotive electrical systems
-       Diesel vehicles
-       Industrial equipment

Working Arrangement
-       90 consecutive working days
-       Followed by 15 days leave/off
-       The employee is expected to remain available and committed throughout the 90-day working cycle.
-       No salary is paid during the 15-day leave/off period.
(The position requires employees to be comfortable with a remote mining-site working environment and rotational work arrangements).

Salary & Benefits
The final salary will depend on the candidate's technical ability, experience and Chinese communication capability.
The budget is calculated based on the following working arrangement:
-       26 days basic salary
-       4 weekend days paid at double rate as overtime
-       Total calculation is approximately equivalent to a 30-day working cycle take-home amount

Food is not provided by the company and is the employee's own responsibility.A project restaurant/canteen is available.
