Part-Time Afternoon Cleaner – Ipswich

Location: Buttermarket, Ipswich, IP1 1BG
Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour
Hours: 5 hours per week
Days: Monday to Friday
Shift: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for a reliable Part-Time Cleaner to work at a High Street Bank in Ipswich town centre.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering a regular one-hour afternoon shift, Monday to Friday, with no weekend working.

The position would be ideal for someone living or already working locally who is looking for a few additional hours each week.

Working Hours

• Monday: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
  
• Tuesday: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
  
• Wednesday: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
  
• Thursday: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
  
• Friday: 3:30pm – 4:30pm
  
• Saturday & Sunday: No work
  
• Total: 5 hours per week
  

Pay

£13.45 per hour

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the premises.

Duties will include:

• Cleaning customer-facing and staff areas
  
• Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors
  
• Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
  
• Wiping and sanitising surfaces and touchpoints
  
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste
  
• Replenishing consumables where required
  
• General cleaning duties throughout the premises
  
• Ensuring the site is left clean, tidy and presentable
  

Requirements

Requirements

Due to the nature of the site, successful applicants will need to complete the required pre-employment checks.

You must:

• Be able to complete a DBS check
  
• Provide valid Right to Work documentation
  
• Be reliable and punctual
  
• Be able to commit to 3:30pm – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday
  
• Be comfortable working independently
  
• Be comfortable with potential key-holder responsibilities and using an alarm panel
  
• Be able to use a telephone-based time and attendance system
  
• Previous cleaning experience is preferred
  

No credit check is required for this position.

Temp to Perm Opportunity

The position will initially be supplied through Concept Resources, with the opportunity to move into a permanent position following a successful temporary period.
