Jira & Confluence Migration Expert

We are looking for an experienced Jira & Confluence Migration Expert to lead and execute migration activities involving Jira and Confluence environments. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience in migration planning, configuration, data migration, validation, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Jira and Confluence migration projects.
  
• Assess existing Jira/Confluence environments and migration requirements.
  
• Perform migration of projects, issues, workflows, dashboards, permissions, spaces, and related data.
  
• Configure Jira and Confluence environments according to business requirements.
  
• Handle migration-related challenges, data validation, and troubleshooting.
  
• Work with stakeholders to understand migration requirements and dependencies.
  
• Perform pre-migration assessments and post-migration validation.
  
• Support user, project, space, and permission configuration.
  
• Document migration processes, configurations, and technical procedures.
  
• Coordinate with technical teams and business stakeholders throughout the migration lifecycle.
  

Requirements

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of experience working with Jira and Confluence.
  
• Strong hands-on experience in Jira/Confluence migration projects.
  
• Good understanding of Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, projects, dashboards, and configurations.
  
• Experience with Confluence spaces, permissions, templates, and content migration.
  
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  
• Good understanding of migration planning, execution, testing, and validation.
  
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  

Preferred

• Experience with Jira/Confluence Cloud and Data Center environments.
  
• Knowledge of Atlassian migration tools and utilities.
  
• Experience with Jira/Confluence integrations and third-party applications.
  
• Atlassian certifications would be an advantage.
