Surgical Affiliates Management Group, Inc. (SAMGI) is seeking a skilled and dedicated Per Diem Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at Banner Lassen Medical Center. Nestled near the beautiful Susan River, this opportunity combines professional growth with an enviable outdoor lifestyle.

Who We're Looking For:

• A Board Certified/Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon
  
• A passion for teamwork and the outdoors
  
• Current or recent experience in general orthopedics, acute fractures, and sports injuries
  
• Arthroplasty competency is a plus
  
• California Medical License preferred
  

Position Highlights:

• Diverse Case Mix: A balanced blend of acute and elective orthopedic cases, focusing on general sports medicine and bread-and-butter arthroplasty
  
• Protected OR Time: Weekly OR block time to ensure dedicated surgical hours
  
• Inpatient and Outpatient Care: Inpatient rounding at one hospital and follow-up care at a well-appointed clinic just 5 minutes away
  
• Call Requirements: 60-minute call back time
  

Requirements

• Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
  
• Current or recent experience in general orthopedics, acute fractures, and sports injuries
  
• Competency in arthroplasty is a plus
  
• Possession of or eligibility for a California Medical License
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  
• Strong commitment to patient care and outcomes
