We’re looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join our friendly Business Services team. This role gives you hands-on experience across compliance, bookkeeping, payroll and advisory work for a wide variety of clients. You’ll learn directly from experienced managers and be supported every step of the way.

What You’ll Do

Prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships & Sole Traders
Manage bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliation, invoicing, payroll and journal entries in XERO
Support managers with tax planning, GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7A, payroll tax & land tax matters
Communicate with clients and stay on top of your workflow and budgets
This is a genuine development role with the ability to take on more responsibility as you grow.

Requirements

What You Bring

2+ years in business services with an Australian accounting firm
Degree qualified
Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude
Good communication skills and the confidence to communicate with clients
Experience with XERO, XPM, Quick Books, FYIDocs (an advantage, not essential)
