Volunteer Opportunity – Brighten a Senior’s Day in Bossley Park!

Are you looking to make a real difference in someone’s life? We’re seeking friendly, compassionate volunteers to spend one-on-one time with elderly residents in a care home in Bossley Park.

Monday to Friday

Flexible times:  10am -12pm or 2pm–5pm

30 minutes to 1 hour per visit

Your visit could include:

• A gentle walk in the garden
• A fun game of bingo
• Sharing coffee in the courtyard
• A warm chat and meaningful conversation
• Or simply sitting together and being present

No special skills are needed — just kindness, patience, and a listening ear.

Whether you’re a student, retiree, professional, or have time to give, you are welcome here. Every smile shared makes a difference.

Come help reduce loneliness, build beautiful connections, and bring joy to someone’s day.

Your impact

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
