Our client is a Large Government Organisation seeking a Solution Architect to join their team in Canberra, ACT.

Role summary:
The Solution Architect will support a major Cloud transformation program, developing and assuring solution architecture across solution design, integration, data migration, archiving, security and architecture governance. The role will work closely with business and technical stakeholders, vendors and delivery partners to ensure solutions are secure, compliant, practical and aligned with organisational and government architecture principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop solution architecture deliverables, including conceptual solution designs, integration designs, architecture decision briefs and technical Statements of Work.
  
• Design integration, data migration and archival architectures, including API-led and event-driven integrations and the transition from legacy platforms to contemporary cloud solutions.
  
• Provide architecture governance and assurance, managing technical risks, architecture debt and design deviations while ensuring security, privacy and compliance requirements are met.
  

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience delivering solution architecture for large and complex ICT transformation programs, including solution designs, integration designs and architecture decision records.
  
• Strong experience in integration architecture, data migration and archival solutions, including API-led, event-driven and cloud-based architectures.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience working across business leaders, technical teams, vendors and governance forums.
