Manager - E Gen

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop the EGen business plan, targets and market strategy for different kVA ranges and customer segments.
• Manage relationships with engine/genset OEMs, dealers and suppliers; negotiate pricing, delivery terms and warranty support.
• Review enquiries, genset sizing, techno-commercial offers and pricing prepared by the Sales Engineer (EGen) and approve within authority.
• Pursue orders from commercial, industrial, institutional and government customers, including tender participation.
• Coordinate procurement, delivery, installation, commissioning and statutory/pollution-control compliance of genset supply.
• Arrange after-sales service, AMC and spare parts support in coordination with OEMs; resolve customer complaints.
• Pursue hybrid opportunities where genset integration with solar/BESS adds value, together with other segment teams.
• Track inventory, supplier commitments, receivables and project status; report to the COO.
• Guide and review the performance of the EGen team.

Requirements

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

• B.Tech / BE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; MBA preferred.
• 8–12 years of experience in engine generator / power equipment sales or operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Knowledge of diesel/gas genset technology, selection and applicable regulations.
• OEM and vendor management; negotiation.
• Commercial and contract management.
• Leadership and customer focus.
