Many successful GSMs and desk managers can REACT to phone, internet, and lot opportunities. We are looking for a Variable Operations Director that CREATE opportunities as well!

Responsibilities:

• Select, train, coach, develop, and retain top-notch talent across the entire variable operations team.
  
• Serve as “deal creator” by being highly engaged in daily sales activities and driving a high-level of performance among the sales team.
  
• Motivate sales team to increase market share, maximize turn-rate, achieve targeted unit sales, and profit margins while achieving excellent CSE.
  
• Be highly engaged with all 3rd Party Vendors, digital platforms, etc., to maximize spend/ROI.
  
• Possess aptitude and ability to interpret analytics to maximize the spend on every platform.
  
• Set clear vision and goals for sales, finance, and recon team to achieve targeted performance in all vehicle sales, financial services product sales, and growth of variable operations.
  
• Engage in all aspects of training and motivating the team to achieve goals, performance expectations, and best practices.
  
• Drive the business through a high-level of involvement in the day-to-day operations.
  
• Manage negotiation and finance processes with Sales Associates, ensuring that customers understand vehicle purchase options and pricing.
  
• Lead the Used Vehicle Department including inventory management, acquisition, merchandising, pricing, and the reconditioning process.
  
• Manage all three areas of customer traffic: Showroom, E-Commerce, and Phones
  
• Assist in managing controllable expenses for the new and used vehicle departments.
  
• Analyze the business to determine shortfalls and develop action plans to improve performance
  

Requirements

• 3+ years of GSM and/or GM experience
  
• Proven track record of an outstanding CSI
  
• High energy
