We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Testing Engineer to support the Vehicle Validation from Customer Perspective process and maintain its integrity as a valued part of the Program Quality Plan for all vehicles we launch.

• Manage ESP and VF drivers in terms of testing plans, testing progress, and testing results.
  

• Conduct vehicle testing and manage issues using the Jira platform.
  

• Manage change content and technical specifications using Teamcenter and Codebeamer.
  

1. Customer Usage & Vehicle Validation

• Develop customer usage profiles and test cases based on vehicle features, user manuals, and Voice of Customer (VOC) for the German/European market.
  

• Plan and conduct vehicle testing on public roads under real customer use cases.
  

• Coordinate test drivers, testing plans, progress, and results.
  

• Analyze vehicle features and engineering changes and provide training to test drivers.
  

• Perform vehicle sign-off and pre-test checks at the Germany plant.
  

2. Vehicle Issue Analysis & Quality

• Identify, analyze, and track vehicle issues using Jira and the VF Problem Solving system.
  

• Perform basic vehicle/data analysis and additional testing to support root cause analysis.
  

• Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and verify solutions through testing evidence.
  

• Analyze VOC and field issues to identify market trends and support preventive actions.
  

• Prepare testing reports and support continuous improvement of vehicle testing capabilities.
  

• Train and support new team members.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Automotive, Electrical/Electronics, Automotive Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
  

• 5–7 years of automotive experience, preferably with strong experience in vehicle testing, validation, fleet, and open-road testing.
  

• Strong knowledge of EV, Automotive Electronics, E/E, and/or ADAS.
  

• Experience with vehicle data logging tools such as CANoe, Vector, and Influx Logger.
  

• Strong skills in vehicle testing, test case development, issue analysis, RCA, and corrective actions.
  

• Ability to read functional specifications and translate them into test cases.
  

• Good knowledge of German/European regulations, road conditions, traffic behavior, and customer expectations.
  

• Good English communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
  

• Locally based in Germany and willing to work between the Germany plant and assigned office location.
  

• Valid German/EU driver’s license, Class B or higher.
  

• Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities or training.
