Sr Manager HR & IR

Key Responsibilities

Payroll Management

  • Manage end-to-end monthly payroll activities for employees and workers.
  • Verify attendance, leave, overtime, deductions and payroll inputs.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Payroll teams for timely salary processing.
  • Manage Full & Final Settlement for employees.

Industrial Relations & Employee Relations

  • Handle day-to-day employee and worker grievances at the project site.
  • Maintain healthy employee and industrial relations.
  • Handle disciplinary matters, misconduct cases and employee complaints.
  • Resolve workforce-related issues in coordination with site management.
  • Manage communication between workers, supervisors and management.

Labour Law & Statutory Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
  • Manage compliance related to PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages and other applicable regulations.
  • Maintain statutory registers and records.
  • Support labour inspections, audits and statutory requirements.

Contract Labour Management

  • Manage HR activities related to contract workers and manpower.
  • Verify contractor documentation and manpower records.
  • Monitor attendance, wages and statutory compliance of contract labour.
  • Coordinate with contractors for workforce-related issues.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance of contract manpower.

Site HR Operations

  • Manage joining, onboarding, transfers, exits and employee documentation.
  • Monitor attendance, leave and manpower deployment.
  • Coordinate with Project, Administration, Finance and other functional teams.
  • Support manpower planning and workforce requirements.

Employee Engagement & Site Support

  • Maintain a positive work environment at the project site.
  • Address employee concerns and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Ensure smooth implementation of company HR policies at the site.
  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for employees and workers.

Requirements

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Personnel Management, Labour Laws or related field.
  • 10–12 years of relevant HR experience.
  • Strong experience in Payroll, Industrial Relations and HR Generalist activities.
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and statutory compliance.
  • Experience handling large workforces and contract labour.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
