Radio Operator

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Radio Operator to join our offshore construction team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining seamless communication between the offshore site and onshore teams, ensuring safety protocols and operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain radio communication equipment to facilitate clear and effective communication. - Monitor radio transmissions to ensure compliance with established protocols and safety standards. - Coordinate communication between offshore construction teams and onshore support personnel. - Report and document any communication issues or equipment malfunctions promptly. - Assist in emergency communication procedures and support safety drills as required. - Maintain logs and records of daily radio communications and incidents. - Stay updated with the latest radio operation procedures and safety regulations applicable to offshore construction environments.

- Proven experience as a Radio Operator, preferably in offshore construction or related industries. - Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to operate radio equipment effectively. - Strong understanding of safety protocols and emergency communication procedures. - Ability to work under pressure and in challenging offshore conditions. - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills for maintaining logs and records. - Familiarity with radio communication technologies and troubleshooting techniques. - Valid certifications or training relevant to radio operation will be considered an advantage. - Flexibility to work in shifts and adhere to offshore work schedules.
