JOB DESCRIPTION
Develop professional buyer-level Tech Packs based on 2D/3D design concepts, sketches, reference garments, and physical samples.
Prepare and manage technical documentation including measurement specifications, construction details, Bill of Materials (BOM), sewing instructions, fit comments, and technical production comments.
Review garment samples and provide accurate fit, construction, and sewing feedback to buyers and factories.
Work closely with Design, Merchandising, Buyers/Vendors, and Production teams throughout the product development process.
Support sample development and resolve technical issues arising during production.
Train, coach, and develop local technical staff and junior team members in Vietnam.
Continuously improve technical standards, workflows, and quality consistency across the product development process
Requirements
At least 5 years of experience in Technical Design, Garment Technical Development, or a related apparel technical role.
Strong knowledge of garment construction, sewing techniques, pattern and fit, and apparel production processes.
Proven ability to independently develop buyer-level Tech Packs.
Hands-on experience conducting fit sessions and preparing technical and fit comments.
Experience with sportswear, casualwear, woven garments, or knitwear is preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Excel is required. Experience with PLM systems and 3D design tools such as CLO3D or Browzwear is preferred.
Good English communication skills are required.
Experience working with overseas buyers, global brands, or international factories is preferred.
Strong ability to train and mentor local employees
Strong technical problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and highly organized working style.
Hands-on experience communicating directly with factories and the ability to work effectively in a Vietnam-based production environment.
Korean or Vietnamese language capability is considered an advantage.
