Location: Infopark, Kochi.

Domain: Insurance Finance & Accounting (F&A)

Experience: 10+ years experience in  GL within  Insurance Finance & Accounting (Mandatory)

Minimum 4+ years of experience in a Senior Manager or Manager-level role is mandatory.

Salary Package: Up to ₹22 LPA

Reporting To: Assistant Vice President / Senior Vice President.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead the Record-to-Report (R2R) function for the Life & Annuity (L&A) insurance business,ensuring accurate financial reporting,timely closing,regulatory compliance,and continuous process improvement.


Responsibilities

•  Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
  
  
•  Coordinate with actuarial,underwriting, and claims teams.
  
  
•  Lead the team and report performance to senior management.
  
  
• Lead end-to-end R2R operations for the insurance business.
  

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field; CA/CPA preferred.
  
  
•  10+ years of experience in Insurance Finance & Accounting is mandatory.
  
  
•  Strong knowledge of R2R, month-end closing and  journal entries.
  
  
•  Experience in Life & Annuity (L&A) insurance accounting is preferred.
  
  
•  Knowledge of IFRS 17, local GAAP, and regulatory compliance.
  
  
• Proficiency in SAP/Oracle and advanced MS Excel.
  
  
•  Strong team leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  
  
•  Ability to meet deadlines and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  

Important Requirement

This is a specialized Insurance F&A – GL leadership position, not a general GL accounting role. Candidates must have relevant L&A insurance accounting exposure in addition to GL/RTR expertise.
