Assistant Store Manager – Retail

Location: Dublin City Centre

Teamworx is recruiting an experienced and motivated Assistant Store Manager on behalf of a rapidly expanding international retail brand with a growing presence across Ireland.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious retail leader to join a fast-paced, high-volume retail environment, supporting the Store Manager in driving commercial performance, developing a high-performing team and delivering exceptional operational standards.

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager, Deputy Manager or experienced Department Manager
  

• Background in grocery, pharmacy, discount, large-format or high-volume retail
  

• Strong leadership, coaching and people development skills
  

• Commercial awareness with experience managing sales, budgets and KPIs
  

• Ability to motivate and develop teams in a fast-paced retail environment
  

• Excellent organisational and operational management skills
  

• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
  

• A hands-on, proactive approach to store operations
  

• Flexibility to work across a retail rota, including weekends
  

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in the successful day-to-day running of the store
  

• Lead, coach and motivate the team to achieve sales and operational targets
  

• Drive store performance through effective KPI management
  

• Maintain excellent merchandising, stock management and store presentation standards
  

• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of employees
  

• Deliver a consistently high standard of customer service
  

• Oversee store operations and take responsibility in the Store Manager's absence
  

• Ensure company policies, procedures and health and safety standards are maintained
  

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and results-driven working environment
