SAP ABAP Consultant

Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Consultant to join our IT Services team. This pivotal role involves leveraging deep technical expertise to drive the evolution of enterprise resource planning systems, specifically focusing on the transition from SAP ECC to S/4HANA environments. The successful candidate will play a critical part in designing, developing, and maintaining robust custom solutions that align with our strategic business objectives and ensure seamless system performance throughout the migration lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex custom enhancements, interfaces, and reports using Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) techniques.
  
• Implement and optimize Business Add-Ins (BAdI) and Business Application Programming Interfaces (BAPI) to extend standard SAP functionality.
  
• Lead technical execution and problem-solving efforts during end-to-end SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation projects.
  
• Execute critical data migration strategies and technical validation tasks associated with the move from legacy ECC systems to the S/4HANA platform.
  
• Collaborate with functional consultants and stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient technical specifications and code.
  
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning to ensure high-quality deliverables and system stability.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Possess a minimum of 6 to 10 years of hands-on professional experience in SAP development and support.
  
• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in OOABAP, BAPI, and BADI implementation and customization.
  
• Show proven expertise in managing the technical aspects of SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
  
• Have a strong background in full-cycle SAP ECC and S/4HANA implementation methodologies.
  
• Exhibit a solid understanding of SAP ABAP architecture and its application within the IT Services sector.
