About the Opportunity

Our client is an innovative European technology company developing an AI-Native, Multi-Tenant SaaS & Marketplace Platform for the European real estate sector. The platform integrates state-of-the-art technologies: real-time voice-first interfaces (Grok Voice / Voice-first AI), Agentic Workflows, multi-tier transactional rails (Stripe / Stripe Connect), and modern Cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). 

As a Tech Lead, you will hold the ultimate technical authority to ensure that software deliveries meet expected standards for architecture, security, quality, and operational readiness. 

You will lead the local cross-functional delivery team, including BA, QA/QC, and Operations, and serve as the direct technical counterpart to the European CTO. This role focuses on technical leadership, architecture, and delivery quality rather than day-to-day feature coding.

Key Responsibilities

1. Architecture Ownership & Governance

• Own and protect the overall multi-tenant SaaS architecture, role-based access control (RBAC), and strict data isolation across PostgreSQL and GCP.
  

• Define and enforce API contracts (FastAPI), maintaining clean architectural boundaries between the web application (Next.js), mobile client (Flutter), and backend microservices.
  

• Establish and govern the AI Tooling Layer to ensure chat/voice agentic workflows (Grok Voice, LLM tools) execute permissioned actions securely without bypassing platform RBAC.
  

• Oversee critical business and financial transaction workflows (invoicing, order processing, and Stripe Connect payment/approval flows).
  

2. Quality Gatekeeping & Vendor Deliverable Reviews

• Serve as the quality gate for all external build increments: rigorously review, approve, or reject deliverables based on architectural integrity, security, scalability, and non-functional requirements.
  

• Collaborate closely with the Business Analyst (BA) to define clear, robust Technical Acceptance Criteria.
  

• Supervise CI/CD pipelines, automated testing coverage, and staging/regression verification prior to production deployments.
  

3. Local Team Leadership & AMS Oversight

• Lead, mentor, and set clear priorities for the Vietnam engineering team (BA, QA/QC, Ops), removing technical roadblocks and driving high delivery standards.
  

• Provide architectural escalation support and operational oversight for Application Management Services (AMS) and production incidents.
  

4. Knowledge Transfer & Strategic Alignment

• Establish documentation standards, CI/CD runbooks, and handover procedures to prepare the local team for a seamless transition to full in-house development.
  

• Act as the primary technical bridge to the external build partner and report technical status, architectural trade-offs, risks, and recommendations directly to the CTO in Europe.
  

Requirements

1. Technical Competencies & Experience

• At least 6 – 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in a Technical Lead, Solutions Architect, or Senior Lead role on production Cloud/SaaS systems.
  

• Architecture & Multi-tenancy: Deep understanding of multi-tenant SaaS patterns, data isolation strategies, and RBAC implementation on relational databases (PostgreSQL).
  

• Core Technology Stack:
  

  • Backend & APIs: Solid background in Python (FastAPI), TypeScript/Node.js, and contract-driven API design.
    

  • Frontend & Mobile Boundaries: Practical familiarity with modern Next.js architectures (SSR, App Router) and integration touchpoints with Flutter.
    

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP: Cloud Run, Cloud SQL, IAM), Docker, and modern CI/CD workflows.
    

• Modern Tooling & AI Integration: Exposure to AI-integrated architectures (Agentic workflows, Grok/Voice interfaces, LLM tooling) and payment integrations (Stripe).
  

• Quality & Governance: Proven ability in conducting rigorous code reviews, defining technical acceptance criteria, and enforcing non-functional benchmarks (security, latency, resilience).
  

2. Soft Skills & Communication

• Excellent verbal and written technical communication skills for technical debates, architecture reviews, and direct alignment with European executive leadership.
  

• High standard of technical integrity with the confidence to challenge and reject suboptimal code increments under delivery pressure.
  

• Strong leadership skills to align, guide, and support BA, QA, and Ops engineers.
