Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the redevelopment of a large, security-conscious website with a full content management system (CMS) rebuild transition into ongoing support. You will own the project plan, budget, risk register and delivery team from discovery through go-live and into hyper-care.

Key Responsibilities

•     Own end-to-end delivery of a CMS/website redevelopment projectVthrough discovery, design, development, testing, content migration and launch.

•      Manage a cross-functional delivery team: technical architect, CMS/front-end developers, business analyst, QA/tester and UI/UX designer.

•      Interface with client stakeholders and their IT security function on hosting, security and compliance sign-off (e.g. POPIA, secure infrastructure review).

•      Track budget, milestones, sprint cadence and risk register, report status to executive sponsors on both sides.

•      Coordinate user acceptance testing, client staff training on the new CMS, and the post-go-live hyper care/support handover.

Requirements

Requirements

•    Minimum 5 years' project management experience specifically in website development, CMS platforms (e.g. Drupal, WordPress), or cloud/digital transformation projects.
•    Minimum National Diploma (NQF Level 6) or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
•    Demonstrated experience managing full project lifecycles: planning/Gantt or sprint scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder reporting.
•     Must be a South African citizen
•     Immediate or short-notice availability strongly preferred given the project timeline.
•      Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.

Advantageous

•      PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum certification.

•      Familiarity with secure hosting, ITIL-aligned support models, or IT security/compliance frameworks.
