Job Summary

We are looking for reliable and hardworking Kitchen Helpers to support daily food preparation and kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment based in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidates will assist chefs with mise en place, basic vegetable/meat preparation, ingredient handling, storage, kitchen organisation and cleaning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support chefs with daily food preparation and mise en place.
  
• Wash, peel, cut and prepare vegetables.
  
• Assist with basic meat preparation as instructed.
  
• Prepare ingredients for service.
  
• Receive and store ingredients correctly.
  
• Maintain organised storage and preparation areas.
  
• Keep workstations clean throughout service.
  
• Support chefs during busy service periods.
  
• Follow food hygiene and safety procedures.
  
• Assist with general kitchen duties as required.
  

Requirements

• Previous restaurant kitchen experience preferred.
  
• Basic food preparation knowledge.
  
• Able to use basic kitchen tools safely.
  
• Understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
  
• Physically capable of working in a busy kitchen.
  
• Willing to follow instructions and support chefs.
  
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  
• UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.
  
• Nepali and Sri Lankan candidates preferred.
  

Kitchen Helper — Screening & Assessment

Ask about previous restaurant/kitchen experience, vegetable preparation, basic meat preparation, mise en place, receiving/storage, hygiene knowledge, UAE/GCC experience, current location, visa status, expected salary and joining availability.
