Job Description: Medical Coder – Ambulatory Surgery / Anesthesia

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder to review medical records and accurately assign CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS codes for ambulatory surgery and anesthesia services.

Key Responsibilities:

Review operative reports, anesthesia records, and clinical documentation.
Assign accurate procedure, diagnosis, and anesthesia codes as per coding guidelines.
Ensure compliance with payer policies and regulatory requirements.
Identify documentation gaps and resolve coding discrepancies.
Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and quality standards.

Qualifications:

Certification such as CPC, CCS, or equivalent preferred.
Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and anesthesia coding guidelines.
Experience in ambulatory surgery or anesthesia coding preferred.
