Dental Practice Manager | Orange, NSW | $38–$42/hr + relocation support

The opportunity

I'm recruiting a Practice Manager for a busy, well-established dental practice in Orange, NSW — part of a larger dental group.

Five dentists, a hygienist, two oral health therapists and a stable front-of-house team. Preferred provider for all major health funds, recently expanded to Saturday trading, and growing steadily. The practice runs well; what it needs is an experienced Practice Manager to take the operational load and keep that growth moving.

Already know Orange? My client will fund a relocation allowance for the right person moving to the area. If you grew up in the Central West and have been thinking about heading back, this is a rare role to come back to.

What you'll be doing

• Operations. Own the day-to-day — diary and workflow management, and compliance with health regulations and infection control standards.
  
• Finance. Budgeting, forecasting, cost control and performance reporting, with real visibility of where the practice is growing and where it's leaking.
  
• People. Recruitment, rostering, onboarding, training and the day-to-day coaching that holds a clinical team together.
  
• Patients. Enquiries, feedback and the occasional difficult conversation, handled in a way that keeps families with the practice for decades.
  

Requirements

Who my client is looking for

This is a genuine practice management role in a high-volume clinic, so the brief is specific:

• Dental industry experience is essential — my client needs someone who understands item numbers, health fund arrangements and clinical workflow from day one
  
• Substantial practice management experience — you've run a practice, not just assisted in one
  
• Real financial capability: budgets, forecasts and P&L
  
• Leadership people follow because they want to, not because of the title
  
• Strong communication skills, particularly under pressure
  
• Confident with practice management software and Microsoft Office
