Reconciliation Specialist

???? Location: Dubai, UAE ???? Job Type: Full-Time, Office-Based We are seeking an experienced Reconciliation Specialist to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial, fintech, payment services, or forex environments, with extensive hands-on experience managing and investigating reconciliation processes across banks, payment providers, trading platforms, and financial transactions. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies in a fast-paced financial environment. Key Responsibilities Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, payment gateways, client funds, and transaction records. Monitor and reconcile deposits, withdrawals, trading transactions, and payment provider settlements. Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies, unmatched transactions, and settlement variances promptly. Coordinate with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Payments, and external banking partners to ensure accurate financial records. Prepare reconciliation reports, exception reports, and audit documentation for management review. Support month-end and year-end closing activities while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Requirements Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Reconciliation Specialist, Reconciliation Analyst, Finance Operations Specialist, or similar role. Proven experience within Fintech, Forex, Trading, Banking, Payment Services, Financial Services, or Investment industries. Strong understanding of: Bank Reconciliation Payment Reconciliation Transaction Reconciliation Client Money Reconciliation Settlement Processes Experience working with payment processors, banks, PSPs, trading platforms, or financial systems. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to handle high transaction volumes accurately. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field is preferred.
