Solar Draftsman

Join our dynamic renewable energy team in Dubai as a Solar Draftsman, where you will play a crucial role in designing and drafting efficient solar PV systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the largest international projects. Relocation to Dubai will be arranged for successful candidates. Responsibilities: - Create detailed technical drawings and schematics for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems using AutoCAD software. - Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet client specifications and regulatory standards. - Revise and update drawings based on feedback and site conditions to optimize system performance. - Assist in preparing documentation for project approvals and permits. - Support the engineering team in project planning and execution phases by providing accurate design drafts. - Maintain organized records of all design documents and revisions. - Stay updated with the latest technologies and standards in solar PV design. - Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8.30 to 17.30.

- Proven experience as a draftsman, preferably with a background in solar PV or renewable energy projects. - Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or equivalent drafting tools. - Strong understanding of solar PV systems and electrical schematics. - Attention to detail and accuracy in technical drawings. - Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment. - Good communication skills and the ability to interpret technical requirements. - Degree or diploma in Drafting, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred. - Knowledge of local regulations and standards in the UAE solar industry is an advantage.
