Cake Decorator

We are seeking a creative and experienced Cake Decorator to prepare, decorate, and finish cakes and other bakery products according to customer orders and company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent decorating skills, and experience working in a fast-paced bakery environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, and other baked goods using icing, frosting, fondant, and other decorative materials.
  
• Create custom designs based on customer requests, reference photos, and order specifications.
  
• Perform piping, lettering, borders, flowers, and other detailed decorating techniques.
  
• Prepare and mix icing, frosting, fillings, and decorative ingredients.
  
• Apply fondant and create smooth, professional cake finishes.
  
• Ensure cakes meet quality, presentation, portion, and design standards.
  
• Complete customer orders accurately and within required deadlines.
  
• Maintain proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
  
• Keep decorating stations, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
  
• Properly store finished products and ingredients.
  
• Monitor inventory and report shortages of decorating supplies.
  
• Assist with general bakery production and packaging when required.
  

Requirements

• Previous cake decorating or professional bakery experience required.
  
• Strong piping, icing, frosting, and cake-finishing skills.
  
• Experience with custom and specialty cakes is an asset.
  
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  
• Creative with excellent attention to detail.
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
  
• Flexible availability, including weekends, early mornings, and holidays when required.
