Website Developer

• Develop, maintain, and optimize web applications using Laravel and PHP.
  
• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, plugins, and modules.
  
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs, third-party APIs, and payment gateways.
  
• Develop responsive and SEO-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  
• Manage and deploy websites and applications on DigitalOcean, cPanel, and cloud hosting environments.
  
• Work with MySQL for database development, queries, optimization, and maintenance.
  
• Troubleshoot bugs, server issues, integrations, performance issues, and website errors.
  
• Optimize website and application performance, page speed, scalability, and reliability.
  
• Follow web security best practices and address security vulnerabilities.
  
• Use Git for version control and follow clean, modular, and maintainable coding practices.
  
• Collaborate with design, product, marketing, and technology teams to deliver high-quality web experiences.
  
• Translate business and design requirements into functional, scalable, and user-friendly solutions.
  
• Take ownership of development tasks from requirement gathering through deployment and maintenance.
  

Requirements

• 
  

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  
• 2–4 years of professional experience in web development.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Laravel, PHP, and WordPress.
  
• Good understanding of MVC architecture and Object-Oriented Programming.
  
• Strong knowledge of MySQL and database management.
  
• Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
  
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
  
• Experience with DigitalOcean, cPanel, cloud hosting, website deployment, DNS, and SSL.
  
• Knowledge of Git and version-control workflows.
  
• Understanding of SEO principles, website performance optimization, and web security best practices.
  
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging web applications and production environments.
  
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React or Vue.js is an advantage.
  
• Experience with payment gateway integrations is an advantage.
  
• SaaS, EdTech, FinTech, or product-company experience is a plus.
  
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
  
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and take ownership of deliverables.
