With a huge range of resources available on site, you’ll connect with fellow craft lovers in care, sharing your creativity and helping residents create or complete their own beautiful pieces.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

HammondCare

HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements

The commitment is one hour per weekly/fortnightly for a minimum of 6 months. We are seeking to fill morning craft group visits between 10am-12pm.

18 years or older •  NDIS Worker Screening Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare •
