What You’ll Do:
The HR / Talent Acquisition Business Analyst analyzes hiring performance, operational requirements, and HR processes to help the business hire the right talent more effectively. The role partners with Talent Acquisition, Operations, Quality, and HR to align hiring profiles with the work employees perform and to improve recruitment workflows, systems, and outcomes.
Analyze recruitment and HR workflows to identify delays, rework, process gaps, and opportunities for improvement or automation.
Review a representative sample of customer calls and other interactions, along with transaction types, in partnership with Operations and Quality. Identify the communication skills, judgment, systems knowledge, and other capabilities required for each program.
Compare operational requirements with current hiring profiles, assessments, interview criteria, and available new hire performance data to identify gaps.
Recommend evidence-based changes to hiring profiles and selection criteria, and validate proposed changes with Operations, Quality, and Talent Acquisition.
Analyze hiring funnel performance, recruiter capacity, conversion rates, time to fill, and early tenure outcomes to identify root causes and recommend action.
Gather stakeholder requirements and document business needs, process maps, user stories, and acceptance criteria for workflow or system changes.
Support testing, implementation, communication, and adoption of approved process and technology improvements.
Develop business cases that outline expected benefits, effort, dependencies, and risks.
Monitor the results of implemented changes and recommend adjustments when outcomes fall short of agreed targets.
Present findings and recommendations clearly to HR, TA, Operations, and business leaders.
Handle candidate, employee, and customer information in accordance with company privacy and access requirements.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, HR operations, talent acquisition, or a related role; BPO experience preferred.
Experience gathering requirements, mapping processes, and working with stakeholders across functions.
Ability to analyze operational workflows and translate role requirements into practical hiring criteria.
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to connect recruitment data with training and operational performance.
Familiarity with ATS, HRIS, recruitment automation, or workflow tools preferred.
Strong communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
