Operations Manager

Job Responsibilities:
Installation, Testing & Verification

• Oversee the online installation of validator systems at designated sites
• Conduct and supervise testing to confirm systems meet functional and technical specifications before go-live
• Verify successful installation and sign off on readiness for operation

Maintenance & Support

• Coordinate routine and preventive maintenance schedules for validator systems
• Provide first-line support for operational issues and escalate as needed
• Conduct regular surveillance/inspection of systems to identify potential faults early

Stakeholder Coordination

• Ensure systems are live and functioning as intended at all times
• Liaise with PTO offices, park officers, timekeepers, drivers, and Fintech departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Act as the primary operational point of contact between field stakeholders and internal teams

System Monitoring & Technical Coordination

• Track and monitor live system health using available dashboards/tools
• Coordinate with the technical team to diagnose and resolve system issues promptly
• Flag recurring or critical issues for root-cause analysis and permanent resolution
• Monitor the usage of the Yatra Card and Fintech App to ensure proper functioning and adoption across the system

Inventory & Stock Management

• Plan and manage inventory/stock of validators, cards, and related hardware or spare parts
• Coordinate procurement and replenishment to avoid stock-outs affecting operations
• Maintain accurate stock records and reconcile inventory on a regular basis

Reporting

• Prepare regular operational reports (daily/weekly/monthly) covering system uptime, issues, and resolutions
• Provide data and insights to support business growth and expansion planning
• Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and incidents

Job Specification

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, Business Administration, or related field
• Relevant experience in operations, technical support, or field service management
• Familiarity with validator/ticketing systems, POS systems, or Fintech platforms is an advantage
• Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel/reporting tools
• Willingness to travel to field sites as required
• Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license
