Production Worker

Southeast Texas HR is seeking a Production Worker to join our team at a Manufacturing Facility in Beaumont, TX.  This will be 5 to 7 days per week, 12 hour days, and pay will be $18 per hour. This is a temp-to-hire position. Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities will include:

• Places products in equipment or on work surfaces for further processing, inspecting, or wrapping.
  
• Loads and unloads items from machines, conveyors, and conveyances.
  
• Cares for machines, adds coolant to reservoirs of machines, and lubricates machine parts.
  
• Helps start machines or equipment to begin production processes.
  
• Helps production workers by performing duties of lesser skill, such as supplying or holding materials or tools, or cleaning work areas and equipment.
  

Requirements

To be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements:

•       Ability to work days, nights and weekends.
  
•       Ability to stand for 12 hours per shift.
  
•       Ability to lift 75 pounds.
  
•       1 or more years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
  
•       Ability to pass pre-employment requirements including a drug test.
  
•       MUST have lace-up steel toed boots, all other PPE will be provided.
  
•       High school diploma or GED.
  
•        Prefer forklift experience and apple grinder experience.
