What you will be doing:

• Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the Main Operating Room.
• Provide leadership and clinical support to perioperative nursing staff.
• Assign patient care responsibilities and manage staffing needs.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Assist with complex surgical procedures when needed.
• Respond to patient care issues and support staff with clinical decision-making.
• Promote quality improvement initiatives and maintain a culture of patient safety.

Experience you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) License (required upon hire).
• BLS Certification through the American Heart Association (required upon hire).
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Perianesthesia RN experience.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience demonstrating leadership abilities.
• Previous Charge Nurse or RN leadership experience required.
