Critical Requirement: Must have ICU experience

Patient Population: Adults with acute medical conditions

Average Patient Ratio: 1:10–15

Hospital Beds: 109

Trauma Level: Adult Level III/IV

EMR: Epic (required)

Medication Dispensing System: Pyxis

Orientation: 16 hours; all orientation hours billable

Responsibilities

Provide general medical care to hospitalized patients.

Evaluate and treat various illnesses and diseases.

Examine patients upon admission.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests, lab work, and X-rays.

Coordinate patient care and communicate with primary care providers.

Answer patient questions regarding treatment plans.

Requirements

New York PA license in hand; no licensing assistance available.

Board certification required.

ACLS and BLS required (AHA or RQI certifications accepted).

Epic charting experience required.

Minimum 2 years of recent experience.

Work history must be current, with no gaps of 30+ days.

Cannot accept residents or fellows.
