Early Childhood Educator & Montessori Specialist
تم النشر في 19 أكتوبر 2026
A private family in Dubai is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator with Montessori infant–toddler expertise to develop and deliver a personalised, home-based educational programme for a child starting at 7 months of age.
The role focuses on early brain development, language acquisition, cognitive development, sensory exploration, early literacy, numeracy and social-emotional development through age-appropriate, play-based learning.
The successful candidate will create an engaging, nurturing learning environment, develop individualised educational plans and monitor the child's progress over time.
This is a dedicated educational position, not a conventional nanny role. The primary responsibility is the child's learning and developmental progress.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Early Learning & Development
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that encourage cognitive development, curiosity, problem-solving, creativity and concentration.
- Support sensory exploration, fine motor skills, coordination, independence and practical-life skills.
- Introduce early literacy, storytelling, nursery rhymes, phonics and reading activities according to the child's developmental stage.
- Develop early numeracy through play, including counting, sorting, patterns, shapes and matching.
- Support social-emotional development, communication, confidence and emotional regulation.
Montessori & Multilingual Education
- Establish a Montessori-inspired learning environment with appropriate educational materials.
- Prepare and rotate learning resources according to the child's interests and developmental progress.
- Develop a structured language-exposure approach based on the parents' preferred languages.
- Encourage language development through conversation, books, songs, rhymes and interactive play.
- Maintain a safe, organised and stimulating home-learning environment.
Curriculum Planning & Progress Reporting
- Develop annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly educational plans tailored to the child's developmental needs.
- Prepare daily learning activities that fit naturally around the child's routine, energy levels and interests.
- Maintain a developmental portfolio documenting observations, emerging skills and progress.
- Provide regular updates and written reports to parents, including recommendations for future learning activities and educational resources.
- Adapt the curriculum according to the child's progress and developmental readiness.
Parent & Household Collaboration
- Work closely with the parents to understand their educational priorities, cultural values and language preferences.
- Coordinate learning activities with the child's existing caregivers and daily routine.
- Guide caregivers on reinforcing language development and learning through everyday interactions.
- Attend regular parent meetings to review progress and discuss educational goals.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundaries within the private household.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Early Years Education or a related field.
- Montessori certification, preferably AMI or AMS, with infant–toddler specialisation (0–3 years), strongly preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant early childhood education or developmental teaching experience.
- Demonstrated experience working with infants and toddlers under 2 years of age.
- Experience developing personalised learning plans and monitoring developmental progress.
- Strong understanding of infant development, early language acquisition and age-appropriate learning.
- Experience supporting multilingual language development is highly desirable.
- Excellent spoken and written English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Valid infant and child first-aid and CPR certification.
- Strong planning, documentation, communication and organisational skills.
- Verifiable professional references and willingness to undergo background checks.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
- The ideal candidate is warm, patient, knowledgeable and passionate about early childhood development. She should be confident designing and implementing an individualised educational programme, observing developmental progress and adapting learning experiences to the child's needs.
- Candidates with genuine expertise in infant and toddler development, Montessori education and long-term curriculum planning are strongly preferred over those whose experience is limited to general nannying or primary-school teaching.
