Homecare General Practitioner

Role Summary:

The Homecare General Physician(General Practitioner) provides safe, patient‑centered medical care to individuals in their homes across Dubai. The role includes clinical assessment, diagnosis and management of common conditions, care‑plan development, prescribing within approved privileges, and coordinating care with nurses, therapists, specialists and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Home Visits — Conduct scheduled and urgent home consultations.
  

• Clinical Assessment — Perform examinations, medication reviews and comprehensive evaluations.
  

• Diagnosis & Management — Manage acute and chronic medical conditions within scope.
  

• Care Planning — Prepare and regularly update individualized care plans.
  

• Investigations — Request diagnostic tests and review results.
  

• Emergency Identification — Recognize deterioration and arrange referral or hospital transfer when needed.
  

• Patient‑Centered Care — Deliver compassionate care while maintaining ethical and professional standards.
  

• Multidisciplinary Coordination — Collaborate with nurses, physiotherapists, specialists and hospitals.
  

• Patient & Family Education — Provide guidance on treatment, medication and preventive care.
  

• Consent & Confidentiality — Obtain informed consent and safeguard patient information.
  

• Documentation — Maintain complete and accurate electronic medical records.
  

• Compliance — Follow clinical, medication‑management, infection‑control and emergency protocols.
  

• Incident Reporting — Report adverse events and safeguarding concerns per facility and DHA requirements.
  

• Quality & Development — Participate in audits, quality improvement and continuing professional development.
  

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

• DHA license as a General Practitioner, or valid DHA registration/eligibility.
  

• Valid medical registration and good‑standing certificate from relevant authorities.
  

• Competence in general medicine, chronic disease management, elderly care, and emergency assessment.
  

• Strong English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
  

• Willingness to travel to patient homes across Dubai.
  

• UAE driving license preferred.
  

• Previous homecare, primary care or community health experience is an advantage.
