APS Production Planner

Job Summary

Responsible for managing and utilizing the APS system to support production planning, capacity optimization, and scheduling in a textile manufacturing environment. The role coordinates closely with Production and Sales to ensure efficient production plans and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support theimplementation, management, and maintenance of the APS system.

• Develop production andcapacity plansusing APS tools to optimize resources and production schedules.

• Coordinate with theproduction flooron schedules, capacity requirements, production status, and outstanding issues.

• Work with theSales teamto manage order changes, quantities, priorities, and delivery dates.

• Adjust production plans and APS schedules in response to changing requirements while minimizing production disruption.

• Apply knowledge ofknitting and dyeing processeswhen developing production plans.

• Monitor production performance and providedaily and weekly reports.

• Analyze production data, identify scheduling or capacity issues, and provide practical solutions.

• Maintain effective communication and coordination acrossProduction, Sales, and other departments.

Qualifications & Skills

• Experience inproduction planning, scheduling, or capacity planningin a manufacturing environment.

• Experience withAPS or similar planning systemsis preferred.

• Good understanding offactory operations and textile manufacturing.

• Knowledge ofknitting and dyeing processesis an advantage.

• Stronganalytical, logical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to adapt quickly to changing production requirements and priorities.
