Client Onboarding & Service Manager (Accounting & Tax – US Clients, Extended Shift)

• ? Location: Remote (Work From Home – India)
  

• ? Shift Timing: 6:30 PM – 2:30 AM IST (Mandatory overlap with US business hours)
  

? About the Role

Business Financial Group (BFG) is looking for a Client Onboarding & Service Manager to manage the client experience for our US-based accounting and tax clients.

This is a highly client-facing role that sits between our US CPA team and the India production team. You will regularly interact with clients through virtual meetings and phone calls, ensuring they clearly understand our services, their financial reports, and next steps.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for onboarding new clients, organizing client documents, and maintaining strong ongoing relationships.

This role does NOT involve bookkeeping, accounting review, or financial quality control.

? Key Responsibilities

1. Client Onboarding (Primary Responsibility)

• Conduct onboarding virtual meetings with new clients.
  

• Clearly explain the service scope, timelines, and client responsibilities.
  

• Guide clients on document submission workflows and software tools.
  

• Coordinate internally with the production team for smooth onboarding hand offs.
  

2. Client Relationship Management

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients.
  

• Respond to client emails and queries within defined SLAs.
  

• Follow up for missing documents and key information.
  

• Escalate complex accounting or tax issues to internal CPAs/leads.
  

3. Coordination & Support

• Coordinate seamlessly between clients, the India production team, and US CPAs.
  

• Organize and manage client documents for tax and accounting preparation.
  

? Ideal Candidate Profile

• Education: Graduate degree required (MBA in Finance or related field would be added advantage).
  

• Experience: 2–5 years of direct client-facing experience (US client exposure is a strong plus).
  

? Key Skills Required

• Communication: Exceptional spoken and written English; ability to present financial details. Candidates with an American or neutral accent are preferred.
  

• Client Handling: High empathy, active listening, responsive follow-up skills, customer-centric approach, and coordination skills.
  

• Basic Accounting Knowledge: Core understanding of Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and basic tax concepts.
  

? Compensation

• ₹35,000 – ₹45,000 per month
