About the Role

We are seeking an Audit Associate to join the Johor audit team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals to build a strong foundation in audit, with comprehensive training and mentorship provided.

Job Description

Assist in client acceptance procedures, including risk assessments and preliminary analytical reviews
Conduct audit fieldwork in accordance with approved audit plans and established methodologies
Perform audit procedures such as sampling, testing, and preparation of Audit Working Papers (AWPs)
Identify audit issues, conduct research, and communicate findings to clients and engagement teams
Monitor engagement progress, ensure timely task completion, and follow up on review notes
Highlight potential risks, control weaknesses, or inefficiencies during audit engagements
Maintain complete and accurate audit documentation in compliance with auditing standards
Support the audit team in delivering high-quality services within agreed timelines
Perform other duties as assigned by the Audit Manager or Partner

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, recognised by MIA)
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; comprehensive training will be provided
Familiarity with MFRS and audit practices is an advantage
Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in both English and Chinese is required to handle Chinese-speaking clients and counterparts
