Retail Operations Manager

The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s luxury retail stores, ensuring operational excellence, consistent luxury brand standards, and an exceptional customer experience. The role will oversee store performance, sales targets and KPIs, inventory and operational activities, while supporting and developing Store Managers and retail teams. The position will also play a key role in upcoming store openings and expansion plans, ensuring operational readiness and maintaining high standards across all retail locations.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's luxury retail stores, ensuring smooth and efficient execution of all operational activities.
  
• Conduct regular field visits and monitor store performance, ensuring compliance with luxury brand standards, SOPs, service standards, and operational procedures.
  
• Lead and support Store Managers in achieving sales targets and KPIs, while monitoring performance and implementing corrective actions where required.
  
• Ensure an exceptional luxury customer experience across all touchpoints, including VIP client service, hospitality, and overall store experience.
  
• Monitor inventory levels, stock accuracy, stock movement, and shrinkage, and coordinate with relevant teams to address operational and inventory-related issues.
  
• Monitor store operational costs, identify areas of inefficiency, and support initiatives to improve operational performance and reduce waste.
  
• Manage and develop Store Managers and retail teams through coaching, performance management, and ongoing development.
  
• Ensure retail teams consistently follow luxury selling standards, customer service protocols, and brand guidelines.
  
• Coordinate and support new store openings, ensuring operational, staffing, inventory, systems, and service readiness prior to launch.
  
• Act as the key operational point of contact between stores and internal functions such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and other relevant departments to resolve operational issues efficiently.
  
• Prepare and review store performance and operational reports, identify gaps, and recommend actions to drive continuous improvement.
  
• Support the company's retail expansion plans by ensuring operational readiness and consistent standards across new and existing stores.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  
• Relevant experience in Retail Operations, preferably within a Luxury Retail environment.
  
• Strong understanding of Luxury Customer Experience, VIP Clienteling, and Luxury Selling.
  
• Experience managing or overseeing retail stores and Store Managers, with strong hands-on exposure to store operations.
  
• Proven experience managing Sales Targets, KPIs, and store performance.
  
• Previous experience in Store Openings and operational readiness is highly preferred.
  
• Strong Leadership and People Management skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and develop retail teams.
  
• Experience in Inventory Management, Stock Control, and Operational Cost Management.
  
• Strong understanding of SOPs, Brand Standards, and Visual Merchandising.
  
• Strong English and Arabic communication skills.
  
• Strong professional presence and ability to represent a Luxury Retail brand.
