Technical Product Manager – Healthcare (Australian Market)

About the client

1. Our client is building a healthcare product aimed at improving efficiency and delivery for care providers in Australia. The product is currently at Sandbox stage and on the verge to move in Beta testing.
   
2. The client is looking for a Technical Product Manager who can own and guide the development effort, connecting software developers, clients, and business objectives and drive the product forward from Beta sandbox, to beta to production.
   
3. Reporting to the CEO, the Role holder will own the product journey, from understanding market needs on real time basis, to translating them into a clear roadmap, to working with developers, and back to market to understand if the product actually impacts the clients.
   
4. A key part of this role involves servicing overseas clients based in Australia. The role holder will be the bridge between Australian client expectations and an India based development team. The role holder needs to demonstrate the ability to manage international clients across time zones and cultural expectations.
   
5. While clients are based in Australia, this position is based in Gurgaon, India.
   

Key Responsibilities

1. Define, prioritise and deliver features that reflect real market needs and client requirements.
   
2. Work closely with software developers to translate client and business needs into clear specifications, scope, timelines and UI/UX expectations before development starts.
   
3. Bridge clients and developers, ensure what clients ask for is accurately understood, built, tested and delivered as specified.
   
4. Drive quality and delivery, ensure builds are properly scoped, delivered on time, tested before release, and accepted by clients.
   
5. Manage the release cycle, coordinate testing, beta management and production releases so issues are caught before clients see them.
   
6. Onboard paying clients, support the readiness and onboarding of new clients as the product grows.
   
7. Anticipate and mitigate risks, think ahead about what can go wrong when onboarding clients and close those gaps early.
   

Requirements

Experience & Background

1. 10 to 15 years of overall experience, with a strong track record in product development and management.
   
2. Experience managing a software and tech product through its lifecycle, roadmap, delivery, releases.
   
3. Experience working directly with software development teams.
   
4. Hands on coding experience (we are fine even if you did so at the start of your career)
   
5. Experience either as a Technical product manager, or a key member of a Technical product management team
   

Skills & Attributes

1. Full-stack exposure preferred, alternatively strong depth in either front-end (e.g. React, Angular, Vue) or back-end (e.g. Java, .NET, Python, Node.js) technologies.
   
2. Working knowledge of databases (SQL / NoSQL) and APIs / integrations.
   
3. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and modern deployment practices (CI/CD, version control such as Git).
   
4. Exposure to AI/ML, understanding of how to identify AI use cases and work with teams to implement AI capabilities into a live product (e.g. LLMs, automation, data driven features).
   
5. Exposure to cybersecurity protocols and secure development practices (data protection, access control).
   
6. Working knowledge of at least one prevalent SDLC methodology (Agile / Scrum / Kanban).
   
7. Familiarity with product and project tooling (e.g. Jira, Confluence).
