DLK is looking for a Data Analyst / Data Governance & Knowledge Management Consultant to help drive enterprise‑level governance and knowledge management initiatives. This is a chance to shape how data is managed, governed, and shared across a complex organisation.

What You’ll Do

Lead requirements gathering, stakeholder consultations, and governance workshops.
Analyse existing data policies, frameworks, and standards — identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Develop and implement Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards, and operating models.
Establish governance structures: roles, responsibilities, committees, escalation mechanisms.
Create and maintain data taxonomies, dictionaries, metadata repositories, and asset inventories.
Define and implement data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models.
Develop and roll out a Knowledge Management maturity roadmap, improving capture, organisation, and sharing of institutional knowledge.
Produce high‑quality analysis, reports, and governance artefacts for senior stakeholders.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

NQF Level 6+ qualification in Information/Data Management, Computer Science, Business Analysis, or related field.
3+ years’ experience in Data Governance, Data Analysis, Information Management, or Knowledge Management.
Proven experience developing and implementing Data Governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
Hands‑on with data dictionaries, taxonomies, metadata, and asset inventories.
Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and documentation skills.
Experience working across both business and technical stakeholder groups.
