Quality Control Technician I

A world leader in Biotechnology and Life Sciences, is seeking a Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support at Frederick, MD.

Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility of Extension)

• Pay Rate: $21.89/hour
  
• Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K
  
• Schedule: Wednesday–Saturday, 3:00 PM–2:00 AM (4 days × 10 hours)
  

Main Responsibilities

• Receive samples, verify documents, and enter details into LIMS.
  
• Label, process, store, and organize samples.
  
• Coordinate sample transfers and shipping to laboratories.
  
• Maintain sample storage areas and review laboratory records.
  
• Follow GMP, safety, and quality procedures.
  
• Coordinate with QC, QA, Manufacturing, and other departments.
  
• Assist with deviations, investigations, and meetings.
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, OR
  
• Associate degree + 2 years of relevant laboratory/QC experience, OR
  
• High school diploma + 3 years of relevant laboratory/QC experience.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of GMP in a QC laboratory.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Visio, and related applications.
  
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  
• Flexibility to work overtime when needed.
