Inventory Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to manage, track, and maintain accurate inventory records. In this role, you will be the backbone of our client’s warehouse and supply chain operations. You will ensure product availability, minimize inventory loss, and maintain an organized storage environment using modern stock management practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Control: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all incoming, stored, and outgoing products using inventory management systems.
  
• Stock Rotation: Organize storage areas and enforce strict FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) methodologies to ensure product freshness and minimize waste.
  
• Loss Prevention: Proactively monitor stock levels to minimize shrinkage, obsolescence, damage, or stockouts.
  
• Cross-Team Coordination: Collaborate daily with purchasing, receiving, and warehouse operations to streamline the supply chain and resolve discrepancies quickly.
  
• Reporting & Analysis: Generate accurate stock status, inventory turnover, and reconciliation reports for management.
  
• Audits: Conduct regular cycle counts and full physical inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with system records.
  

Requirements

• 1–3 years of proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory management.
  
• Strong understanding of inventory principles, specifically FIFO and FEFO systems.
  
• Proficiency with Inventory Management Software (WMS, ERP, SAP, NetSuite, or Excel).
  
• Exceptional attention to detail, robust data entry accuracy, and strong cross-functional communication.
  
• Ability to stand, walk, lift up to [X] pounds, and navigate a warehouse environment throughout the workday.
