QC Mechanical Inspector - Static/Rotating

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of QC Mechanical Inspector - Static/Rotating in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is seeking skilled, motivated professionals with strong mechanical quality-control and inspection expertise. The role will focus on ensuring mechanical equipment and project activities comply with approved specifications, drawings, inspection procedures, and applicable quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect static equipment such as pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, piping components, and related mechanical installations.
  

• Inspect rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and associated assemblies.
  

• Review approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, inspection procedures, and quality requirements before inspection activities.
  

• Conduct visual, dimensional, material, welding, assembly, and installation inspections as applicable.
  

• Verify inspection and testing activities against approved ITPs and project quality requirements.
  

• Coordinate inspection activities with QA/QC, construction, engineering, vendors, and client representatives.
  

• Review inspection records, test reports, material certificates, and other quality documentation.
  

• Raise and follow up on NCRs, punch points, inspection observations, and corrective actions where required.
  

Required Skills

1. Mechanical Inspection — ability to perform inspection of mechanical equipment and installations against approved requirements.
   

2. Static Equipment Inspection — knowledge of pressure vessels, tanks, heat exchangers, and related equipment.
   

3. Rotating Equipment Inspection — familiarity with pumps, compressors, turbines, gearboxes, and mechanical assemblies.
   

4. QA/QC Documentation — ability to review and maintain inspection reports, checklists, test records, and quality documentation.
   

5. Welding Inspection — understanding of weld inspection, visual examination, WPS/PQR-related documentation, and applicable quality requirements.
   

Preferred Skills

• Experience with EPC, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
  

• Familiarity with applicable ASME/API/project specifications.
  

• Relevant international mechanical inspection or QA/QC certification.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Typically 5–8 years of relevant mechanical inspection or QA/QC experience is suitable for this role, with practical exposure to static and/or rotating equipment. Candidates with experience in EPC, oil & gas, petrochemical, or major industrial projects are preferred. Education

• Minimum: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering — typical requirement
  

• Preferred: Relevant postgraduate qualification or professional QA/QC certification
