Iron Making Field Operator

Job responsibility

• Operate and monitor plant field equipment and/or process of Direct Reduction Plant. A training shall be provided by the team.
  
• Carryout routine inspection, checking of equipment.
  
• Periodical visual observation of product and oxide material quality. A training shall be provided by the team.
  
• Periodical inspection of product storage yard.
  
• Attend any plant troubles / abnormalities promptly
  
• Adhere to and maintain safe working practices and procedures.
  
• Perform overtime, standby and call out duty (when required)
  

Requirements

Qualifications
• Technical Diploma or Higher Secondary Education in from regular college/University.

Experience and requirements
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in in similar job profile.
• Manufacturing/ steel industry experience is preferred
• Specific knowledge and understanding of both equipment and process operation in Direct Reduction Plant.
• Knowledge of equipment / process parameters and controls.
• Knowledge of operating and safely procedures and standards.
• Knowledge and understanding of basic DR chemistry. DR Chemistry is preferable or mechanical diploma holder.
• Basic computer skills
• English language skills – written and spoken. Hindi spoken skills required as well.
