Fabrication In-charge

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Fabrication In-charge in Bahrain. Our client is seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in HDPE pipe manufacturing and fabrication operations. The ideal candidate should have more than 5 years of industry experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day HDPE pipe fabrication activities and ensure production targets are achieved.
  

• Plan and coordinate fabrication schedules, manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
  

• Monitor HDPE cutting, jointing, welding, fitting, and fabrication processes for compliance with production requirements.
  

• Inspect fabricated components and ensure dimensional accuracy and workmanship quality.
  

• Supervise fabrication technicians and workers and allocate daily work assignments.
  

• Monitor equipment usage and coordinate preventive maintenance requirements.
  

• Maintain production, fabrication, material consumption, and quality records.
  

• Ensure fabrication activities follow applicable safety and quality procedures.
  

Required Skills

1. HDPE Pipe Fabrication: Strong practical understanding of HDPE pipe fabrication and associated manufacturing processes.
   

2. HDPE Welding & Jointing: Knowledge of fabrication and jointing methods used for HDPE pipes and fittings.
   

3. Production Supervision: Ability to coordinate manpower, production schedules, materials, and fabrication activities.
   

4. Quality Control: Ability to inspect fabrication work and identify dimensional or workmanship issues.
   

5. Team Supervision: Experience supervising fabrication workers and coordinating shop-floor activities.
   

Preferred Skills

• Production planning and material coordination.
  

• Knowledge of fabrication drawings and dimensional requirements.
  

• Familiarity with manufacturing safety and quality procedures.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Candidates must have more than 5 years of experience in the HDPE pipes manufacturing industry. At least 2 years of experience must be at supervisory level, preferably handling fabrication or production teams in a manufacturing environment.

Education

• Minimum: Typical qualification — Diploma/ITI or equivalent technical qualification relevant to Mechanical, Plastics, Production, or Fabrication
  

• Preferred: Typical qualification — Diploma in Mechanical/Production/Plastics Engineering
  

• Additional: Relevant HDPE welding/fabrication certification is advantageous
